Two Norfolk Winners were selected as Regional Winners of the 2017 Aegon British Tennis Awards. Hingham Tennis Club as Club of the Year and Catton Grove Primary in the Education Venue category.

The Aegon British Tennis Awards reward the people and places driving participation in British Tennis, celebrating outstanding achievement.

The Awards enable the LTA, Tennis Foundation and Counties to work together to recognise great achievements at County, Regional and National level.

There are eight different awards categories including:-volunteer of the year, young volunteer of the year, aegon coach of the year, highland spring club of the year, community venue of the year, education award, disability award and outstanding achievement.

In 2016, there were 300 county winners, 56 regional winners and 10 national winners.

The Norfolk Awards were presented back in February at a celebration dinner hosted at Sprowston Manor, with over 150 people from across the county in attendance
